Galaxy devices may experience repeated reboot when setting a specific image as the device wallpaper

Question:

My Galaxy phone keeps restarting after I set a particular picture as my wallpaper. What's happening?

Answer:

Some Galaxy devices may experience repeated reboots when using certain images as wallpapers due to compatibility issues with the Android 10 operating system. The issue is not limited to Samsung devices but can occur on all devices running Android Q. A software update will be released soon to fix this problem. In the meantime, avoid using the problematic image as your wallpaper and regularly check for software updates in Settings > Software update.
