PROBLEM 1: Image quality of photos taken with S9/S9+ camera
SOLUTION 1:
Camera and image quality may vary depending on the user environment as well as the camera settings, light source, and shooting conditions.
However, there are some improved camera aspects on the S9 that will make pictures come out better:
- A hardware standpoint: The Dual Aperture feature (F1.5 and F2.4) will ensure brighter and clearer photos.
- A software standpoint: Multi Frame Noise Reduction* technology is used to improve the low-light camera performance. The S8 or Note8 could only combine three images in the AP. The S9/S9+ first combines four photos in the memory built into the image sensor, and then combines another three photos, which is produced by combining four photos each, into one. (Up to 12 Images are combined.)
- The S9/S9+ is equipped with dual (F1.5, F2.4) apertures. This lets in more light in dark environments and allows you to take photos that are sharper and clearer. If you do not want to use the F1.5 aperture in dark areas, you can Pro Mode. In Pro Mode, you can choose between the F1.5 and F2.4 apertures.
* Multi Frame Noise Reduction Technology: Noise reduced by 25 - 30% compared to the previous models by combining a total of 12 images into one.
