 Question:
After updating my phone's operating system
to Android 11 (also known as R OS), I am unable to make calls or send messages
by swiping left or right on a contact or number when using the messaging app.
What happened?

Answer:
With the release of Android 11 (R OS),
the ability to swipe left or right on a contact or number within the messaging
app to initiate a call or send a message has been removed. However, this feature
still exists in the Phone or Contacts app. To access it, follow these steps:
Open the Phone app.
Tap on the three dots icon located at the top-right
corner of the screen (More options).
Select Settings.
Scroll down and tap on Call settings.
Look for the option called 'Swipe to call',
and enable it.
Now, when you swipe left on a contact or number
in the Phone app, it will allow you to call them directly.
Similarly, to enable swipe to send messages,
look for the option called 'Swipe to text'. Enabling this will allow you to
swipe right on a contact or number in the Phone app to send a message without
opening the messaging app separately.
