PROBLEM :

Proximity sensor does not work properly

SOLUTION :

There is an issue where the proximity sensor feature does not work properly on certain devices. The Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy A 2019 series devices have a minimized bezel. Some apps or features related to the proximity sensor may differ compared to previous devices.

Check if you have attached screen accessories such as screen protectors, stickers, protection films, or glass protectors that cover the proximity sensor area of your device. Covering this area with accessories may cause the sensor to malfunction.

Using a Samsung-approved screen protector is recommended. Unapproved screen protectors may cause the sensor to malfunction. You should ensure that the sensor area is clean as well.

If the proximity sensor continues to malfunction, please visit an authorized Samsung Service Center with your device.
