Why am I experiencing issues when opening the Files app on my Samsung Galaxy device?

Answer:

There seems to be an issue with the current version (r_aml_301500700) of the Files app by Google on some Samsung Galaxy devices. Samsung is aware of this problem and is working on resolving it through a future update of the Files app. In the meantime, please follow one of these options:

Regularly check for updates to your installed applications through FOTA (Firmware Over The Air). Update the Files app to the latest version once it becomes available.

As a temporary solution, you can uninstall the recent updates of the Files app until the new update is released. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Files > More > Uninstall updates.
