Device care storage optimization feature was used to delete cached files or residual files to free up space for users. Qihoo 360 Technology Co. provided a reference directory for known junk files that helped Samsung identify cached or residual files. Personal data and information was not shared with third parties or their servers during the storage optimization process.

However, it is normal if the Clean storage feature does not appear after updating Device care to the latest version. Samsung judged that there would be no inconvenience if the storage optimization feature was no longer supported, and so it has been discontinued. Samsung is committed to providing the best possible mobile experience and solutions for customers.
