Question:

After updating my Galaxy S20 FE 5G to the latest version, the screen flashes and turns off when moving to a bright place or outdoors. What should I do?

Answer:

We apologize for the inconvenience. Samsung is aware of this issue affecting a limited number of Galaxy S20 FE 5G devices and is working on releasing a new software update to fix it. In the meantime, follow these steps to minimize the problem:

Check for regular software updates through Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Keep your software and applications updated at all times.

Disable Adaptive brightness by dragging the status bar down twice, tapping the extension arrow next to the brightness slider, and turning off the Adaptive brightness toggle.

Adjust the brightness to a proper level (not the maximum) to reduce the flashing and screen turn-off issues.
