Cannot reset Samsung Account password because didn’t receive code

PROBLEM 1:

Cannot reset password because did not receive code

SOLUTION 1:

Cannot reset password because did not receive code

When you need to reset your password, you will receive an email with a link or code to verify your identity. Once verified, you can create a new password.

  1. On a web browser, navigate to the Recovery page on the Samsung website.

  2. On this page, select Reset password and enter the email associated with your Samsung account. Do not close the recovery page in case the email does not go through the first time.

  3. When you are finished, an email will be sent to the email address you specified. Open the password reset email from your inbox.

  4. Click the Reset password button in the email, or copy and paste the provided URL into your web browser.

  5. From there, you will be taken to a page where you can create a new password. Once you have completed the reset process, you will be able to sign in using your new password. Please note, the link expires after 30 minutes.

 PROBLEM 2:

Troubleshooting when you did not get the email

SOLUTION 1

  • If you cannot find the verification email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

  • If you still cannot find the verification email, you can try resending the code. Go back to the Recovery page and select Resend verification email.

  • If the email address you entered has been deleted or if you do not have access to it, please contact Samsung Support.
