After updating My Files app to the latest version, only limited folders under internal memory is displayed in app.

 

Answer:

  • With previous My Files app, all folders in the internal memory are always visible and it may not provide intuitive usability but, this behavior is changed with the latest updates of My Files app.
  • Only some folders meeting the following conditions for the internal storage root path are displayed if [Essentials] filter is applied.

(1) DCIM, Download, Music, Pictures : always displayed

(2) Alarms, Audiobooks, Documents, Movies, Notifications, Podcasts, Ringtones, Recording : displayed when each folder is not empty

(3) Folder created/renamed/moved/copied by users with My Files (Essentials supported version) : always displayed

  • If you want to view all folders under the internal memory, please change filtered setting value to [All] type on following steps
    • Go to My Files > Internal storage > Change to Essentials ? [All]
