Why is the WeChat app intermittently not working properly during video calls on my Galaxy device?

 

Answer:

  • Samsung is aware of this issue occurring on Galaxy devices when using the WeChat app (version 7.0.21) over a mobile (LTE or 5G) network. This problem does not happen when using Wi-Fi for WeChat video calls.
  • The issue has been resolved in the latest version of the WeChat app (version 8.0.6), which is currently available at the Galaxy Store. Check for updates in the Galaxy Store on your device.
  • The improved WeChat version will soon be available on the Play Store.
  • Samsung is dedicated to providing the best mobile experience and recommends keeping software and apps up to date with the latest versions.
