In My Files, go to More Options > Settings > Turn on "Show Hidden System Files" and look for a file named ".nomedia" in the following path: /Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Media/.nomedia

Close and reopen the Gallery app: After deleting the .nomedia file, use the Recent Apps button to close the Gallery app completely, then relaunch it.
