After updating my device to the newest Android S OS (One UI 4), why isn't the contact picture showing up in my messaging conversations?

 

Answer:

Starting with One UI 4 (Android S OS), the contact images of the other person are no longer displayed on the messaging conversation screen. To view the other person's contact details, simply tap their phone number or contact name located at the top of the chat screen. This will expand the header section, allowing you to tap the button to access their contact information.
