After updating my device to the latest Android S OS (One UI 4), why aren't all my message conversation lists showing up?

Answer:

With the new update, a feature has been added that changes the category order in the message conversation list. As a result, when you create a new category and move it to the top, it will now display as the first category by default when accessing the Messages app, instead of appearing under the 'All conversations' category.
