When will my device receive the eSIM update? Which models currently support eSIM? How does eSIM work?

Answer:

Please note that the eSIM feature will be enabled via a software update.

Additional models will be added to the list as made available.

SW Update plan (FOTA):

• S21 = Nov 17
• Note20 = Dec 22

S21 and Note20 (Bell, Rogers, Telus and Wind/Shaw) are the first mobile devices that will support ESIM.

On top of ESIM, devices mentioned can support Dual SIM function.  (ESIM and USIM � physical SIM)

All ESIM  functions are activated by QR code scanning.

ESIM is available out of the box by default on:

• S22 Series
• Z Fold 3 / Z Flip 3
