After updating my phone to Android S (One UI 4), I'm not getting proper vibration alerts for messages and calls. What's going on?

 

Answer:

We're aware of an issue affecting some devices after updating to Android S. Our team is working on a fix, which will be released through a software update soon. In the meantime, please follow these steps to enable app notifications and vibrations:

 

Go to Settings > Notifications > More.

Tap App notifications, then select All and Show system apps.

Find and select Android System.

Enable Show notifications and Allow sound & vibration options.

 

By doing this, your device should start providing proper vibration alerts for messages and calls until the software update is available. Remember to keep checking for software updates in the future to ensure optimal performance.
