Question:

The files(i.e. image, video) shared via 3rd party chatting app are not shown on Gallery. What should I do to show this at the gallery?

Answer:

• At that time, first please check if a related option for the feature is activated on chatting app.
• For example, in case of WhatsApp, you need to turn on 'Turn on Media visibility' option (WhatsApp > Tap More options > Settings > Chats > Turn on "Media visibility")
• If shared files aren't still shown even though a related option is enabled, it's required to delete a related system file that may affect to it.
• On My Files, tap More options > Settings > Turn on "Show hidden system files", and check if there is �.nomedia' file on next path and delete it if so.  Path : /Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Media/.nomedia/WhatsApp/Media/.nomedia
• Next, close the Gallery app by Recent button and launch again it.
