Question:

Why am I unable to send files saved on my device through WhatsApp's Dual Messenger feature? Additionally, why does the feature not function correctly when opening files received from others?

Answer:

This issue has been reported on some Galaxy devices running WhatsApp version v2.21.10.16 and later. Samsung is working on a software update to fix this problem, so please regularly check for updates (Settings > Software update). In the meantime, here are some steps you can take to use the Dual Messenger feature more effectively:

Sending files saved on your device:

  • Select the desired file(s) from either the Gallery or My Files app.
  • Tap the 'Share' button.
  • Choose the second WhatsApp account (Dual Messenger).
  • Opening files received from others:

Forward the received file(s) from the second WhatsApp account to the first WhatsApp account using the Messages option.

Open the forwarded file(s) using the first WhatsApp account.

Please note that keeping your device and application software updated is essential for optimal performance. Samsung values customer satisfaction and is dedicated to providing the best mobile experience possible.
