Question:

After updating my phone to Android S (One UI 4), I'm experiencing issues connecting my Galaxy Watch. I keep getting an error message saying "Galaxy Watch Plugin has stopped working." Or, when attempting to pair my Galaxy Watch with my mobile device, a pop-up error shows up stating "Galaxy Watch Plugin isn't responding," and it won't connect correctly. What should I do?

Answer:

This issue may occur if you're still using the older version of the Watch Plugin app. To resolve it, follow these steps:

Update the Watch Plugin app to the latest version by going to Settings > Apps > Find your Watch Plugin app (e.g., Galaxy Watch3 Plugin, Watch Active2 Plugin, etc.). Uninstall it.

Launch the Galaxy Wearable app, and it will automatically reinstall the latest Plugin app.

Alternatively, you can try initializing your Galaxy Watch and then delete the Galaxy Wearable app on your mobile device. Afterward, reinstall both apps (Galaxy Wearable and its corresponding Watch Plugin) to their latest versions.
