Why am I being asked to update my Samsung Account information/date of birth?

 

Answer:

We ask Samsung Account users to provide a date of birth as part of the Samsung Account set-up process. The date of birth you entered indicates that you are under 13 years of age. In order to have a Samsung Account, users must either be over the age of 13, or provide parental consent if they are under 13.
