Answer:

  • In case of using same Google Account on multiple devices (A, B) or turning on 'Automatically back up & sync device contacts� function, there may be shown as some of contacts are deleted.
  • If your contact information is deleted from another device(B) where your Google account is logged in or there is a synchronization problem,
  • contacts also can be deleted on current device(A) as changed or deleted Google contact information on other device are synchronized to the server.
  • Deleted contacts will be kept on the Google server for 30 days, so please execute 'Undo changes� or recover the contacts from the Trash.
  • If you need also, please block contact synchronization with other devices on Google Account.
  • Temporarily, you can recover contact information already deleted through following method.
  • In case of turning on 'Automatically back up & sync device contacts� function, contact in the device is automatically moved to 'Google Account� contact. So, there might be shown as some of contacts are deleted if contacts is shown by phone not by All contacts.
  • You need to turn off 'Automatically back up & sync device contacts� function, there may be shown as some of contacts are deleted.

  1. Samsung device > Settings > Google > Manage your Google Account > Security > Your devices > sign out all the unused devices
  2. Samsung device > Settings > Google > Settings for Google apps > Google Contacts sync > turn off 'Automatically back up & sync device contacts� function

[How to Recover the contact lists already deleted within 15 days or 30 days]

1. Google website : If you deleted a contact in the last 30 days, you can move it out of your Trash

    •   Access "https://contacts.google.com/" on PC internet > At the top right, click Settings and then Undo changes > Choose a time to go back to > Click Confirm.
    •   Access "https://contacts.google.com/" on PC internet > At the left, click Trash > At the top, click Recover

2. Samsung device : If there are some contact lists at the Trash deleted within the last 15 days, you can restore those

    •   Samsung device > 'Contacts� app > More(navigation menu) > Trash > Edit > select contact lists > click 'Restore all�
