After updating to One UI 5.1(T OS), my Samsung
Video app isn't restoring correctly using Smart Switch when moving from my old
device to my new one. How can I fix this issue?
Answer:
This problem occurs because of changes in Android
T OS. Starting from this version, Samsung Video app needs to be on version 1.4.21.88
or later due to a new policy by Google. So, first, check if your old device
has an older version of the Samsung Video app (version 1.4.21.84 or earlier).
If it does, update the app to the latest version
(1.4.21.88 or later) on your old device before trying to restore it via Smart
Switch. Remember, this issue happens when both devices - old and new - are running
Android T OS or later versions
