 After updating to One UI 5.1 SW version, my device's battery life seems shorter. Why is this happening?

Answer:

We found out that the recent software update (One UI 5.1) includes a Samsung keyboard app that uses more battery power due to a verification process for an extra feature called "sticker badge". Don't worry! A new Samsung keyboard app version (v 5.6.10.31) with a fix was released on March 2nd. To improve your device's battery life, simply update the Samsung keyboard app following these steps:

Open Galaxy Store.

Tap Menu, then select Updates.

Find Samsung Keyboard and tap Update.

Alternatively, open Samsung Keyboard settings, go to About Samsung Keyboard, and tap Update.

Note: If the update was already installed automatically, the Update button might not appear on the screen.

This issue affects devices with OS versions updated to One UI 5.1.
