Why isn't there a 'Confirm PIN without tapping OK' option when setting the screen lock type with PIN?

 

Answer:

In One UI 6.0 (based on Android U OS), the 'Confirm PIN without tapping OK' option appears only if you set a PIN with more than 6 digits. This is due to concept changes implemented by Google.
