Galaxy device notification is a feature available during the login process that offers additional options for two-step verification, apart from just using SMS messages. It allows you to receive the verification code on another compatible device (like a phone or tablet) linked to the same Samsung account. By entering the code from this device, you complete the authentication process.

 

Steps to enable/use:

  1. Go to settings
  2. Tap on Accounts and backup
  3. Select Manage accounts
  4. Choose your Samsung account
  5. Navigate to My profile
  6. Select Security and privacy
  7. Enable Two-step verification
  8. Log in to your Samsung account
