76E or 76C [Auto Fill Pitcher Overflow Error Code or Auto Fill Button Flashing]

 

Reason/Solution

If water spill or leak around the pitcher holder assembly, the overfill sensor will detect that and produce a beep sound or an error code or the "Auto Fill" button will continuously flash.

To fix this: remove the pitcher and inspect for cracks and damages, wipe the water pitcher holder area, have a dry towel ready, open the rubber cap to drain the water (see pictures below)
