How is the expansion plan of Galaxy AI to other models progressing? Which specific models can I expect the inclusion of Galaxy AI? / Why are some Galaxy AI features on certain models different than others?

We are currently providing One UI 6.1 SW update version with Galaxy AI functions to specific models through FOTA update sequentially by region. The models include Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, Tab S9 series(5G/Wi-Fi) as of now.

The additional expansion models include Galaxy S22/Tab S8(5G/Wi-Fi) series, Z Fold4/Flip4.

S22/Tab S8 series(5G), Fold4/Flip4 model will have same levels of support as the S23 FE model through SW update, and Tab S8(Wi-Fi) will have same levels of support except for Magic Rewrite in Google Messages, Live Translate in Call app.

However, the Galaxy AI functions are required to have high level performance for the processing and operation, so some functions may not be supported for the particular models, and the adaptation of specific functions may vary by model or region because of the differences coming from structure, performance, HW/SW specification, concept of behavior, etc.

* Photo ambient wallpaper feature included within S24 series will not be supported for other models as it is currently experimental features in Labs

* Some of specific option or availability may vary by model code, region or country, carrier and SW version.

* The specific SW update schedule for each models and features may vary.

S22/Tab S8(5G) series, Fold/Flip4 will have Circle to Search(by Google Cloud), Magic Rewrite(available only paid service users through Cloud service) in Google Messages, Chat Translation(On-device), Interpreter app(On-device), Call app[Live Translate(On-device)], Samsung Keyboard app[Writing style/Spelling and grammar(Google Cloud), Chat Translation(Google Cloud, On-device)], Samsung Notes app[Summarize/Auto format/Correct spelling(Google Cloud), Translate(On-device)], Voice Recorder app[Summary(Google Cloud), Transcription/Translation(On-device)], Samsung Internet app[Summary(Google Cloud), Translate(On-device)], Photo Editor[Generative Edit(Google Cloud)], Gallery app[Edit Suggestion(On-device)-Remaster and others], Wallpaper[Generative wallpaper(Google Cloud).
