After One UI 6.1 SW update, the Auto Hotspot does not work intermittently.

 

Answer

  • We have identified that the Auto Hotspot may not work properly under certain conditions such as Secure Folder, Dual Messenger.
  • If the issue still persists, you can turn on the Mobile Hotspot manually.
  • We're working on a SW patch to improve this situation, please keep the device SW version up to date.

 

* Path for workaround:

  1. Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering > turn On 'Mobile Hotspot', or
  2. Quick panel > tap to turn On Mobile Hotspot
