Touch does not work intermittently/app icon selection (execution) does not work on Home screen. (swipe down/up gesture or app running on Quick panel, and swipe left/right to move screen on Home screen are working normally)

 

Answer

  • Because of compatibility issues with some features (Discover) of the Google app, the relevant Google team is working to improve the situation related servers and apps.
  • For temporary workaround, you can turn off Google Discover or select to set Samsung Free on Home screen. It can improve the situation.
  • Google team has released the Google app updated version, so please keep the Google app up to date.

  1. Home screen > touch and hold an empty screen to edit > swipe right to see Google Discover/Samsung Free screen > turn Off Google Discover or select to set Samsung Free

 

* Google app version with fix : v15.11 or later version, and improvements will be made to the Google server

* Server improvement schedule: mid of April (TBD)
