Q1: After updating One UI 6.1.1 SW version, the group albums in the 'Albums' tab of the Gallery app appear empty.

Q2: After updating One UI 6.1.1 SW version, the albums disappear when creating group albums in the Gallery 'Albums' tab.

Answer

• On some devices running One UI 6.1.1 SW version, an issue was identified where group albums do not work properly under the following both conditions are matched:

Condition #1: When all albums with the same name are turned on in [Gallery > Albums > More options > Hide albums] and

Condition #2: When a 'Merge albums' option is turned on in [Gallery > Menus(=) > Settings > Merge albums] (Default: On)

To resolve this issue, please modify one of the above settings while using your albums as workaround.

Path 1

1. Open Gallery
    
2. Select Albums
    
3. Tap on More options
    
4. Tap on Hide albums
    
5. Turn Off enabled hide albums

Path 2:

1. Open Gallery
    
2. Go to Menus( hamburger option)
    
3. Tap on Settings
    
4. Turn Off "Merge albums"
