PROBLEM 1: Unit Does Not Stop Running When Door is Opened
FIRST ACTIVATE HRM (CUSTOMERS ONLY)
For this problem, please first follow these steps to activate HRM on your Family Hub:
- On your Family Hub, please navigate to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and then touch Remote Management.
- Please touch Activate, and then please wait for the server to connect.
- The PIN Code will be shown on your screen.
- Give the PIN Number to the Agent.

SOLUTION 1A: Agent Monitors The Door
When the customer has activated HRM and given you the code, do the following:
- Using HRM, monitor the door switch while the customer opens and closes the door.
- If the door switch is not working correctly, service is required.*
- If the fridge's doors are not properly aligned and/or the wire harness is not connected properly, the refrigerator will not detect when the door is closed. It will think the door is being continuously left open.
- Have the customer check if their fridge doors are aligned and if the wire harness is properly connected. They can find instructions for installing the doors and connecting the wire harness in their user manual. For further assistance, they will need to contact a professional installer.
*If the door switch is working but the issue continues, service is required.
