PROBLEM :

Cleaning the Interior

SOLUTION :

Use Baking Soda/Vinegar or Mild Detergent

To clean the inside of the refrigerator, please perform the following:

  1. Please empty your fridge, and discard any old or spoiled food.

  2. Place any other food in a cooler to help preserve it.

  3. Remove the glass shelve and bins, and let them warm up until they are less frigid.

  4. Please fill a bucket or bowl with 1 cup (236 milliliters) of cold water, and then mix in a cup (118 milliliters) of baking soda and cup of vinegar (118 milliliters). However, the amount of water used in your baking soda solution depends on the consistency you desire.

    • If you do not have these supplies, you can also use a mild detergent.

  5. Please use a sponge or dish towel to wash the shelves and bins with the baking soda/vinegar solution or mild detergent.

  6. Clean the interior walls and shelves with the baking soda/vinegar solution or mild detergent. Make some more solution if needed.

  7. After the shelves and bins are clean, please let them dry.

  8. Once dry, please re-install them into your fridge.

  9. Now you can refill your fridge with your food items.

  10. To help dissipate any lingering cleaning smells, you can place a small box or pan filled with baking soda inside your fridge.

WARNING: Do NOT clean the glass shelves with warm or hot water. The fridge's low temperature will make the glass cold, which may break when exposed to hot water.
