Water Dripping From the Water Dispenser

Complaint: Customer calling to advise that water is driping from the dispenser.

Answer:

There are three major reasons why your water dispenser may be dripping, such as:

  • Low water pressure from the water supply.

  • Air bubbles accumulating inside the water piper or the tank system.

  • The water valve is damaged.

  • Please make sure to dispense around 19 to 23 liters (5 to 6 gallons) of water from the dispenser. This can help remove air bubbles that might have accumulated inside the system.

  • If your water dispenser leaks a few of drops of water after you use it, it is functioning normally.

NOTE: If the dispenser has a constant or steady drip, your refrigerator
requires service.
