Question:

What does the Info screen display on my TV, and how does it relate to the frequency of the incoming signal and the Auto Motion Plus feature?

Answer:

If part of your screen is permanently black, your TV may need service. To determine whether the issue is caused by your TV or your connected device (DVD Player, Cable Box, Game Console, etc...), follow these steps:

  1. Turn your TV on.
  2. Press MENU on the TV remote, or on the TV itself.
    • If you can see the entire menu, there is a problem with your connected device (DVD Player, Cable Box, Game Console, etc...) . Contact the manufacturer of the connected device to resolve the issue.
    • If you cannot see the entire menu, there is a problem with your TV and it needs to be repaired. To begin the service process, click the Create online service request button below.
