Connect A Standard Definition Set-Top-Box

 To connect a Standard Definition Cable or Satellite Set-Top-Box to your TV, you must have the following equipment:

  • A Standard Definition Cable or Satellite Set-Top-Box (Referred to as an SD box).
  • Two lengths of Coaxial (RF) Cable (long enough to go from the wall to the SD box, and then from the SD box to the TV).

    OR

  • One length of Coaxial (RF) Cable (long enough to go from the wall to the SD box), and one length of Composite AV Cable (long enough to go from the SD box to the TV).
