Connect A High Definition Set-Top-Box

To connect an HD Cable or Satellite box to your TV you need the following equipment:

  • An High Definition Cable or Satellite Box (Referred to as an HD box).
  • One length of Coaxial (RF) Cable (long enough to go from the wall to the HD box) and one length of Component AV Cables (long enough to go from the HD box to the TV).
  • OR

  • One length of Coaxial (RF) Cable (long enough to go from the wall to the HD box) and one HDMI Cable (long enough to go from the HD box to the TV).
  • OR

  • One length of Coaxial (RF) Cable (long enough to go from the wall to the HD box) and one DVI-to-HDMI Cable (long enough to go from the HD box to the TV).  For this option you will also need an audio cable, an RCA to mini Stereo plug (3.5mm).
