but is unable to reach the internet. To resolve this, follow these steps:
Important:
Before
troubleshooting, verify that other devices (such as a Computer) are able to
access the internet.
- Power off your TV, Modem, and Router.
- Unplug the power for your Modem and Router.
- Make sure the ethernet cable is securely connected to both your TV
and your Router or Modem.
- Plug in your Modem and turn it on.
- Plug in your Router and turn it on.
- Run
the network test again.
- If
all tests pass, the TV is successfully connected to your network and
the internet.
- If
the Internet Service Test fails again, there is a problem with your
Router or Modem. Contact your network administrator or router manufacturer
for help troubleshooting your modem or router. Possible causes could
be:
