Question:

How to connect a recorder to your TV using an HDMI cable?

Answer:

To connect a recorder to your TV with an HDMI cable, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna or cable jack on your wall to the Coax (RF) IN on your recorder.
  2. (Optional) Connect the second length of coaxial cable from the RF OUT of the recorder to the ANT IN (Coax) on the rear of your TV.
  3. Note: Completing this step allows you to turn the recorder off and still watch TV. To watch TV when the recorder is off, press TV on the TV's remote to switch to the coax (RF) input.

  1. Connect the HDMI cable from the HDMI OUT of the recorder to any of the HDMI inputs on the TV.
  1. Press SOURCE on the TV's remote until you have selected the HDMI input chosen in step 3.
