Coax (RF)

Question:

How to connect an analog recorder to your TV using a coaxial cable?

Answer:

To connect an analog recorder to your TV with a Caox (RF) cable, follow these steps:

  1. Connect one end of a coaxial cable to the antenna or cable jack on your wall.
  2. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the Coax (RF) IN on your recorder.
  3. Connect one end of a second coaxial cable to the Coax (RF) OUT on your recorder.
  4. Connect the other end of the second coaxial cable to the ANT IN on the TV (as illustrated below).
  1. Set your TV to the Coax (RF) output channel designated in the instructions of your recorder. In most cases, this would be either channel 3 or channel 4.
  2. You may need to preform an "Auto Program" to find the signal from your output device. If you do not know how to do this click here for instructions.

Note: If you try to enter a channel and the TV displays a "Not Available" message, press the TV button on the remote and you see TV displayed in the top left corner of the screen.
