Question:

How to connect a recorder to a TV using Component A/V cables?

Answer:

To connect a recorder to your TV with Component A/V cables, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna or cable jack on your wall to the RF IN on your recorder.
  2. Optional: Connect the second length of coaxial cable from the OUT of the recorder to the ANT IN (Coax) connection on your television.
  3. Note: Completing this step allows you to turn the recorder off and still watch TV. To do this, press SOURCE on the TV remote to switch to the TV input.

  1. Connect the component video (green, blue and red) and audio (red and white) cables from the Component video and audio OUT on your recorder to COMPONENT IN on your TV.
  2. Note: the connections on the TV face downward.

  1. Press the SOURCE button on the TV remote one or more times until you have selected COMPONENT.
