to connect a recorder to a TV using Composite A/V cables?
Answer:
To connect a recorder to your TV with Composite A/V cables,
follow these steps:

- Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna or cable
jack on your wall to the RF IN on your recorder.
- Optional: Connect the second length of coaxial cable from the OUT of the recorder to the ANT
IN (Coax) connection on your television.
Note: Completing this step allows you to turn the recorder off
and still watch TV. To do this, press the TV button on the TV's remote to
switch to the TV input.
- Connect the composite video (Yellow) and
audio (red and white) cables from the Composite video and audio OUT on your recorder to AV
IN on your
TV.
Note:
The
AV in is a shared connection with the component input. so you will see that
the green input labled Y also has a yellow ring around it to identify it
as the composite vide connection. On the TV the connection jacks are facing
down.

- Press the
SOURCE button on the TV's remote one or more times until you
have selected COMPONENT.
