Problem 1:
Too Cold Inside the Fridge
Solution 1:
- Check Fridge
- Ensure the fridge temperature is not set too
low. Consult user manual for recommended temperature.
- Verify Power Cool and/or Power Freeze settings
are turned off, as they might make some compartments colder than set temperature.
- Confirm that the room temperature where the
refrigerator is placed is above 10 degrees C (50 degrees F), as excessively cold rooms can cause
overcooling.
- Do not store items like fruits and vegetables
directly in front of vents, bottom, or back of the fridge; use designated drawers
to avoid freezing.
- If issue persists after following these steps,
service is required.
Problem 2:
Too Cold Inside the Freezer
Solution 2:
- Check Freezer
- Check for ice in the ice maker, as a full ice
bucket lowers the freezer temperature. Once full, the freezer returns to set
temperature.
- If no water line is connected, turn off the
ice maker to prevent overcooling and ice maker damage.
- If issue persists after following these steps,
service is required.
