Question:

My RF Remote Is Not Working Properly

Answer:

Start by replacing the batteries in your remote.

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of your remote and remove both of the batteries.
  1. Properly insert a new set of batteries.
    • If your remote is working properly after the last step, your previous batteries are dead.
    • If your remote is not working properly after the last step, continue to Remote Reset And Pairing.

Remote Reset And Pairing

To reset and pair your remote, please follow these steps:

  1. Press the [Reset] button on your remote with an object like a toothpick or pen.
  1. Turn off your TV by touching the [Power] button on the bottom, middle bezel of the TV. The reset is now complete.
  2. Press the [Pairing] button on your remote, and using the [Power] button on the TV, turn on your TV within 30 seconds.
    • If the remote beeps, pairing is complete.
    • If the remote does not beep, try the previous steps again.

Important:

If after replacing the batteries and resetting and pairing your remote at least twice, the remote control is not working, and is still under the manufactures warranty, click on the service request button and request a replacement remote.

If you are not under the manufactures warranty, click here to visit J & J International Samsung's Authorized Parts Distributor to purchase a new remote.
