Question:
Why
is my TV's brightness changing automatically?
Answer:
Subject: The
Brightness Is Dimming Or Flickering Automatically
If
the brightness on your TV changes automatically (randomly dims and brightens), you may have the Energy Saving function
set to Auto.
The Energy Saving function adjusts the brightness
of the TV to reduce power consumption.
When you set the Energy Saving function
to Auto, the TV changes its brightness automatically depending on what you are
watching on the TV.
These
changes in brightness can look like flickering.
To correct this problem, change
the setting of the Energy Saving function to Off, Low, Medium, or High.
To
change the setting for Energy Saving, follow these steps:
- Press
the MENU button.

- Use
the up or down arrow to select
'Setup',and then press ENTER.

- Use
the up or down arrow to select
'Energy Saving', and then press ENTER.
- Use
the up or down arrow to select
any setting other than 'Auto', and then press ENTER.
- Press
the EXIT
button to leave the main menu.
If
the flickering continues after setting the Energy Saver setting from Auto, test
the TV on a different source.
The flickering may be caused by the external device
or the cabling connecting it to the TV.
