Subject:  How To Pair Your Touch Remote And TV

Pairing your touch remote with your TV will allow you to control your TV wirelessly without the need for line-of-sight with your TV.

There are two ways to pair the touch remote with your TV.

• Ad-Hoc: With this method the remote will connect directly with the Wi-Fi signal created by the TVs Wi-Fi dongle. This method allows for an easy connection and control of the TV and use of the "Twin View" feature but the remote will be limited to the range of the broadcast signal from the TV. We recommend using this method if you want to eliminate using other equipment and also for any equipment testing.
• Wi-Fi: This method connects your TV and touch remote to your home network. This method has a little more involved setup but allows you to use all* functions of your remote and extends the remotes control range to range of your wireless network.

*Use of all functions will be based on your network security settings and if other equipment (Personal computer with DLNA software) is present and setup for sharing over the network.
