Question:

Why is Screen Fit grayed out in my menu options?

Answer:

Screen Fit is only available when your TV receives certain HD signals through certain inputs.

The signals and inputs Just Scan works with are listed below, by TV resolution type.

If the incoming signals resolution is lower than the required resolution on your chosen connection, Just Scan is grayed out.

Setting your TV to Screen Fit may produce what is called an over scan line.

Terms:

Screen Fit - A feature that allows your TV to adjust its display settings to fit the incoming video signal.

HD signals - High Definition television signals, providing better picture quality compared to standard definition.

Inputs - Connections on your TV where external devices (such as a cable box or gaming console) can be connected.

Resolution - The number of pixels in an image or screen, affecting the level of detail and sharpness.

Just Scan - A feature that allows your TV to display a 1:1 pixel mapping, ensuring no cropping or stretching occurs.

Overscan line - Excessive display area around the edges of the intended image, causing some content to be hidden.

Source - The device (cable box, streaming device, etc.) providing the video signal to your TV.
