Why
is Screen Fit grayed out in my menu options?
Answer:
Screen
Fit is only available when your TV receives certain HD signals through certain
inputs.
The signals and inputs Just Scan works with are listed below, by TV
resolution type.
If
the incoming signal�s resolution is lower than the required resolution on your
chosen connection, Just Scan is grayed out.
Setting
your TV to Screen Fit may produce what is called an over scan line.
Terms:
Screen
Fit - A feature that allows your TV to adjust its display settings to fit the
incoming video signal.
HD
signals - High Definition television signals, providing better picture quality
compared to standard definition.
Inputs
- Connections on your TV where external devices (such as a cable box or gaming
console) can be connected.
Resolution
- The number of pixels in an image or screen, affecting the level of detail
and sharpness.
Just
Scan - A feature that allows your TV to display a 1:1 pixel mapping, ensuring
no cropping or stretching occurs.
Overscan
line - Excessive display area around the edges of the intended image, causing
some content to be hidden.
Source
- The device (cable box, streaming device, etc.) providing the video signal
to your TV.
