Answer:
Samsung TV's have been factory calibrated with different sound modes.
These
modes can be used to improve sound quality based on your incoming signal and
environment.
Each source has it's own sound modes.
Adjusting a sound mode will only be
effective on the souce it was changed.
For Example:
If you
have a Blu-Ray Player on HDMI2, and you want change the sound mode to Movie,
it will save on the HDMI2 source.
The next time you watch a Blu-Ray, the sound
mode will still be Movie.
