How do Samsung TVs use sound modes to improve audio quality?

 

Answer:

Samsung TV's have been factory calibrated with different sound modes.

These modes can be used to improve sound quality based on your incoming signal and environment. 

Each source has it's own sound modes.

Adjusting a sound mode will only be effective on the souce it was changed. 

For Example:

If you have a Blu-Ray Player on HDMI2, and you want change the sound mode to Movie, it will save on the HDMI2 source.

The next time you watch a Blu-Ray, the sound mode will still be Movie.

Some sound modes that may be availible on your TV are:

Mode

Description

Standard

Mode with everything set at a baseline of zero. There is no emphasis or aplification or any Hz range.

Movie

This mode is for emphasis on Trebels and Bass

Speech

Emphasis on Trebels to make it easier to hear and understand voices

Customer

This mode allows for the most customization
