How
to perform an auto program on my TV?
Answer:
The Auto program feature will scan all the channels of your selected antenna and store all channels that have signals and remove any scrambled
channels.
When an autoprogram is performed it will erase all previously stored
channel information.
To perform an auto program.
- With
the TV On make sure you are on the "TV" source. If you are not
on the TV source you will not be able to access the Channel portion of the
Menu. Press SOURCE and
select TV.
- Press
MENU.
[The
Main Menu appears]
- Use
the up or down arrows and select the "Channel" portion of the menu,
and then press ENTER.
[The
selection bar will move to the right side of the menu]
Note:
If you cannot select "Channel" because it is grayed out or skips
over it please return to Step 1.
- Use
the up or down arrows to select "Auto Program", and then press ENTER.
- Select
the antenna you wouldl like to scan.
- Air:
will scan for over-the-air signals.
- Cable:
Will scan for cable signals.
- Auto
will scan for both air and cable signals.
- Select
Search or Start and press ENTER.
- Wait
for scan to finish. Depending on the antenna selected this can take between
5-30 minutes.

Antenna
- A device that receives broadcast television signals (over-the-air).
Cable
- A connection used to transmit television signals through a coaxial wire.
Auto
program - A feature that scans for available channels and stores them automatically.
Over-the-air
(OTA) - Refers to broadcasting television signals directly to viewers without
