How to run Clear Scrambled Channels?

 

Answer:

 

The "Clear Scrambled Channels" feature can be run after an auto program on the cable antenna.

Running this option will scan each channel and remove any channels that have no signal or are an encoded signal.

 

To run "Clear Scrambled signals"

  1. With the TV On make sure you are on the "TV" source. If you are not on the TV source you will not be able to access the Channel portion of the Menu. Press SOURCE and select TV.
  1. Press MENU. [The Main Menu appears]
  1. Use the up or down arrows and select the "Channel" portion of the menu, and then press ENTER. [The selection bar will move to the right side of the menu]
  2. Note: If you cannot select "Channel" because it is grayed out or skips over it please return to Step 1.

  1. Use the up or down arrows to select "Clear Scrambled Channels", and then press ENTER.
  2. Note: "Clear Scrambled Channels" will only be selectable if you are set to the Cable Antenna.

  1. The TV will begin to clear scrambled channels, Follow any on-screen instructions.

SOURCE: A button/option used to change the input source (e.g., TV, HDMI)

MENU: A button/option used to display settings and options for the user to choose from.

Up/Down Arrows: Keys used to navigate through the menu options.

ENTER: A button used to confirm or submit a selected option within the menu.
