stands for the Digital Living Network Alliance.
This alliance is a world wide
collection of electronics, computer, and mobile device companies striving to
make products that connect to and communicate with each other and share digital
media easily.

Samsung’s
DLNA Certified TVs
Samsung's
DLNA certified TVs can access and display or play certain digital content located
on your computer.
In addition to a Samsung DLNA certified TV, to take advantage
of this capability you need:
- A
computer with Samsung PC Share Manager installed on it
- A
wired home network
- Media
files that are supported by Share Manager on your PC.
Samsung
PC Share Manager comes packaged with your TV.

Samsung’s Download Center.
To go to the Samsung Download Center, click
here.
On the Download Center page, enter your TV’s model number, and then click
Search.
When the Download page for your TV appears, click the Software tab.
Find PC Share Manager, and then click the icon under File on the far right to
begin the download.
Using
DLNA: An Overview
To
use DLNA you must:
- Connect
your television to your home network via the Ethernet port on the television.
- Have
PC Share Manager installed on your computer and configured correctly.
After
you have completed the tasks above, using DLNA is as simple as pressing the
MEDIA P. button on your remote or selecting Media Play in the Applications
portion of your TV’s menu.

Through
the Media Play menu on your TV, you can use the arrow buttons on your
remote to select the media files you want to access on your computer such as:
On your computer, Share Manager accesses and then streams
these files to your TV.
When you are finished viewing or listening to your media,
simply press the Exit button to exit DLNA.
