How To Turn On/Off Auto Motion Plus?

 

Answer:

To  turn on Auto Motion Plus it is a two step process.

First, you access the Picture Options menu, then you turn on Auto Motion Plus.

To access the Picture Options menu, follow these steps:

  1. Press the MENU button on your remote to display the menu.
  2. Press the ENTER button to select "Picture".
  3. Press the up or down arrow button to select "Picture Options", and then press the ENTER button.

Turning On Auto Motion Plus

To turn on Auto Motion plus, follow these steps:

  1. On the Picture Options menu, press the up or down arrow button to select "Auto Motion Plus 120Hz", and then press the ENTER button.
  1. Press the up or down arrow button to select "Off", "Clear", "Standard", "Smooth", "Custom", or "Demo", and then press the ENTER button.
  2. Press the EXIT button to exit.

Auto Motion Plus Settings

Off

Switches Auto Motion Plus (interpolation) off

Clear

Sets Auto Motion Plus to (low) blur reduction, (high) judder reduction.

Standard

Sets Auto Motion Plus to (medium) blur reduction, (medium) judder reduction.

Smooth

Sets Auto Motion Plus to (high) blur reduction, (low) judder reduction.

Custom

You can set blur and judder reduction to your personal preference.

Demo

Displays the difference between Auto Motion Plus 120Hz on and off modes. The screen after applying “Auto Motion Plus 120Hz” appears on the left.

 

Note: If you enable "Auto Motion Plus 120Hz", noise may appear on the screen. If this occurs, set "Auto Motion Plus 120Hz" to "Off".

Important: When you turn on Auto Motion Plus, the Info Screen Display on your television does not indicate that the screen is displaying at 120Hz.
